Chocolate Bread Pudding

2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
2 cups scalded milk
1/3 cup sugar
2 cups bread crumbs
1/4 cup melted butter
2 eggs beaten
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla

Melt chocolate in milk. Add bread crumbs and set aside to cool. When lukewarm, add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Bake in buttered baking dish (1-1/2 to 2 quart dish) at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
