No Knead Dinner Rolls

1/2 cup scalded milk
1/4 cup shortening
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cold water
1 package yeast
1 beaten egg
3-1/4 cups flour

Combine milk, shortening, sugar, salt. Add cold water, yeast, mix in egg. Blend in flour, saving part to work dough. Shape pieces of dough into small balls (16). Place in greased 9x9 pan. Let rise until double (1 hour) Bake 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
