Pesto

2 cups fresh basil, washed and chopped (stems removed)
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 tablespoon white pepper
pinch nutmeg
1-1/4 teaspoon orange peel
1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
3 cloves garlic
1/4 cup pignoilies (pine nuts)
3 ounces olive oil

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor saving oil for last. When chopped, slowly add olive oil while blending.

Use sauce on hot cooked pasta and serve.
